Fighting fit after year of selling A martial arts specialist shop in Staple Hill is celebrating its first year in business. Colin Fearis opened Enso Martial Arts in the High Street last November when he was made redundant from his job as a printer. Colin, aged 43, a karate expert, decided to open a retail outlet. He said: “Business is doing very. There was a gap in Bristol for martial arts equipment, which I decided to fill. Now it’s evolved and it’s not all about martial arts.” Mr Fearis also sells boxing equipment, Asian furniture and objects and offers alternative medicine health practices such as Indian Head massage.
